«Tea with the Rabbi» in the ICF «Jewish Hesed «Bnei Azriel»

Heartful communication with the Rabbi is a good Jewish tradition, built on mutual respect and the desire to know and understand the deep meanings of the sacred Scriptures. Creating favorable conditions for this communication, ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" continues to hold regular meetings called "Tea with the Rabbi".

Interestingly, the participants of the June "tea party" had the opportunity to talk with a young student of Yeshiva – Heim-Uri Pavlovsky, who studies now at the Brodsky synagogue. Being actively involved in studying the Holy Scriptures, our guest had not only emphasized the theoretical interpretation of the commandments of the Torah, which were of interest to our clients, but also offered practical explanations to them.

Interesting finding for the grateful audience was the demonstration of certain ritual practices, particularly the wearing of Tefillin, the headdress and the closed clothes which Jewish men wear. Also, the lecturer has kindly shared his vision of various aspects of Judaism and explained what the different ways of interpreting the Torah are and who can apply them.

The meeting was very exciting and we sincerely invite all the Jews of Kiev and Kiev region, which are clients of the Kiev Hesed, to participate in the next "tea parties" in the walls of the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel".
