«The main thing’s that a suit fits you well» – the courses of cutting and sewing in the ICF «Jewish Hesed «Bnei Azriel»

Anyone who has ever visited us knows that in the Kiev Hesed for the clients – the Jews of Kiev and Kiev region – there are lots of clubs for the pleasant communication, joint production of beautiful things or learning something interesting and useful. All of these classes for our wards are conducted by the tutors-volunteers who want to share their skills. Sometimes in the classroom masters demonstrate the real magic, which strikes those who came to learn. Do you believe in magic and reincarnation? No?! Then you just are not familiar with Vladimir Ivanovich – the head of the courses of cutting and sewing in the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel". After all, how else can be called the ability to give the old things a second life, to create lovely patterns from low-value scraps and, most importantly, an overwhelming desire to help pro bono, giving your skills to everyone. Of course, this is magic in its finest Jewish tradition, when some people are willing to transfer knowledge and others take this gift with gratitude and respect. Getting on classes of cutting and sewing, the wards of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" have the opportunity to learn from a well-known master, a professional and dedicated tutor. Learning from Vladimir Ivanovich is easy and pleasant. Those wards who attend courses for a long time, easily work with different fabrics, create patterns and with pride say there is no such sewing tasks with which they would not have done after attending the course. According to them: "Now we are not afraid of either silk or fur". After visiting one lesson, one becomes very interested, what's the secret to their success. You must agree that picking up a needle for the first time at an older age is an adventure itself. And every time, with every new student everything ends-up successfully. How do they do it? What's the magic? As it turns out, it's very simple: every client of Hesed, who came to class of cutting and sewing, adheres to one Golden rule, invented by its master: "There is no need to acquire and collect, if you can create and bestow." And it works! The members of the club bring to the class their good spirits, enthusiasm and morale and they all work together, a mentor-volunteer with joy gives his skills, knowledge and professionalism and his disciples are doing a fantastic success in sewing. And it turns out that here it is, the Jewish wisdom embodied in life – in the beautiful suits, dresses and bags, hand-made or tailored by the wards of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel". And the biggest secret is the internal state of a person and his willingness to make this world more beautiful by using colored thread or by his own bright smile.
