If the money is missing, lost, or stolen, the wise Jews say: "Thank you, G-d that you took it by the money!" It is really so. However...

Although Jewish financiers are globally famous, the issue of presence or, which is much more common at the elderly people, lack of money has to be solved by everyone. Those who do not have a decent financial education often come to the solution with difficulty and make it not always right. And how many new credit unions have appeared lately, offers from the banks, shares in foreign companies or Internet currency, in which even a modern economist would get lost! What can we say about the elderly people, whose trust is exploited, and the small savings disappear in the pockets of financial speculators. The wards of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" are no exception in this situation. It’s hard to tell you how much pain is to see the tears and hear the sad words for our employees from poor grandmothers and grandfathers, especially from the single people who were deceived by the seductive promises. But how can this all be sorted out? How not to fall into the trap of schlimazels? And what can be really done with the money of ordinary people living on pensions and salaries?

We decided not to look for the answer to these questions in the newspapers and trendy forums about money. We decided to apply to the best specialists of PJSC "Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange" with an offer to conduct a course of financial illiteracy elimination. And we were heard, and the idea supported! We called the course "School of financial literacy for older people" and it will be lead by the very Chairman of the UICE Board, Professor, Anatoliy Gulei! The course consists of 4 lectures in the format of presentations, during which a professional banker, experienced teacher in understandable terms will explain and teach the entire team of trainees how to manage money at our troublous times, how to understand offers of other people regarding finances and how to make decisions. And we will also know how we can buy shares of reliable foreign companies and how to get dividends from them. And yet what a bitcoin is. And what we are going to have from all this!

The first lecture will be held on 22 March 2017 in the first half of the day. The exact time will be announced additionally in social networks and at our website.
