• Light of the Hanukkah in the family of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel"

Here comes Hanukkah – such a bright, joyful and light holiday. Like all Jewish holidays, Hanukkah has its own history and traditions of celebration, which in varying degrees are available to every Jew: communities, synagogues and organizations invite to light the Menorah and enjoy traditional donuts! After all, really, the light of a Hanukkah flame gives us refreshing, touching child's bright tenderness of soul and joy in our hearts. This is the deeper meaning of ever-burning candle. The holiday concerts "Hanukkah lights" which were held on 25 December and 28 December, 2016 in our big family of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel", became small wonders of unity, light and warmth which flowed down from the stage and returned by the audience to performers. The master Emil Krupnik said a prayer and lightened up Menorah... the audience reverently repeated "Amen," and in each heart burned the lights of new hopes and aspirations...

We were happy to congratulate our wards with songs performed by the constellation of Hesed musical talents: Evgeniy Orel, Irina Sydorovskaya, Elena Wynn, Felix Schuster, Mikhail Poloz, Mikhail Strizhevskiy, Inna Kulikova. The audience were excited with the performance of the dance ensemble "Lomer Tanzen" under the direction of Joseph Ljubica and Inna Povstyuk. The members of the dance show were the wards of our Hesed, who perfectly coped with the task! The grateful audience rewarded with standing ovation the compositions on the violin of artful performance by Felix Schuster, as well as the stars of our Fund, an ensemble "Kiev Kleizmer Band" under the leadership of Alexander Kot and VIA "Keren" under the leadership of Nikolai Korenyuk.

Particularly warm was the performance of our volunteer Svetlana Pogorelaya who presented to the audience the author's comic number "Sarah Abramovna in Hesed".

What a wonderful improvisations sounded throughout the concert! A great music sounded and enthusiasm, fun and joy reigned in the hall! All the spectators still remember with pleasure the Hanukkah lights, presented by the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" to its dear clients, volunteers and all members of our huge family!
