• The first exhibition of project participants’ works of "Program for preservation of memory"

In the period of 20–29 December 2016 in the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" was held an exhibition of project participants’ works of "Program for preservation of memory". In the project are involved people living with dementia and their relatives, and caregivers. During the sessions, the techniques of art therapy are used. And the results are just fantastic!

Each finished work is the result of meticulous work of this category of Hesed wards, strengthens their faith in themselves, in their capabilities and possibilities, and gives a feeling of self-worth and value to society.

It should be noted that specially trained caregivers regularly exchange experiences with each other on working and caring for such wards; a psychologist, Julia Epelbaum is working with their relatives. The social work specialist Marina Oreper coordinates the Program.

We express our gratitude to our social workers, who created such a warm, touching and beautiful works of art – Irina Chernaya, Svetlana Reznik, Tatiana Krikun, Lyubov Prokopenko, Oksana Lebedeva, Rimma Oblomiy and Svetlana Borodynia!
